Monolith Echoes is an exploration of the fusion between human, fashion and cybernetic elements in a dance of light, form, and texture. The work pulls the viewer into a world of industrial sensuality and taboos.

The two masks draw inspiration from Rick Owens — crafted with leather, straps, and metallic details, blending a sharp BDSM aesthetic with a tension between power and vulnerability, flesh and machine.

The project was built using:
Face textures — detailed normal and roughness maps capturing skin microdetails.
Blender geometry nodes — light fixtures, realistic subsurface scattering on the skin.
Shaders — reflective metal and leather materials, with realistic subsurface scattering on the skin.
